Handheld devices are increasing in popularity especially among healthcare providers. In addition to being a powerful personal information manager, it can also serve as a convenient portal to medical data.

This e-poster demonstrates the various web-based applications that can be used in a handheld device that has a browser and a continuous Internet connection. Advantages and limitations of web-based technologies on the portable handhelds will also be discussed.
