Images are an integral part of anatomic pathology. The use of digital imaging in the practice of pathology has been growing. The conventional means of storing pathology images, i.e., film media, is expensive and lacks features like sorting, retrieval or easy ways to copy or transfer to other places. The advents of low-cost image capturing devices and continuously dropping prices of computer hardware have made digital technology very affordable for every pathologist. The Internet and the World Wide Web has emerged as a widely accessible medium for information interchange in every walk of life. There is a large amount of information available on the Internet about digital imaging in general and also about its use in pathology. In this website, we have organized all relevant sites into different categories. We also have added a 'Bulletin Board' where one can post a specific question, comment or news relevant to digital imaging.
